Edward "Doc" Wonsicki

Edward Paul “Doc” Wonsicki was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and lived in Manalapan and Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Doc was president of King of Knight Productions and a sound production engineer for Disney/ESPN and ABC Sports. Edward won various awards for audio production, including an Emmy for Live Mixing for his work at the Olympics in Nagano, Japan. He also garnered Global Media Awards for outstanding sports broadcasting three years in a row.

Doc was dedicated to his craft and took pride in being a mentor to anyone who was willing to learn. This scholarship is a way to keep his spirit and craft alive.
