David A. Gille

David A. Gille

David A. Gille was a 1961 graduate of Teaneck High School, where he participated on the track team. In 1965, he graduated from Valparaiso University with a mathematics degree. He trained as a naval officer and served in Vietnam as a Lieutenant, JG. Following his service, he worked at NJ Bell, Grand Union, and Nabisco as a computer analyst.

Following his career in computers, he received his nursing degree from Bergen Community College. He then worked as a nurse at LLANFAIR House in Wayne.

David was a former president of Grace Lutheran Church Council in Teaneck and volunteered with the Englewood Ambulance Corp. A resident of Englewood, he passed in 2007 and was the beloved husband of 27 years of Dorothy Nelsen-Gille.
